The Weyburn Beavers will open the season at home on May 24th, when they host the Moose Jaw Miller Express at Tom Laing Park. They follow up the home and season opener the next night and close out the opening weekend with a game against the 57s in Swift Current on May 26th.
Beavers' walk-off double caps exciting doubleheader victory
In the second game of a doubleheader, in the bottom of the eighth inning in a seven-inning game, Trent Lawson stepped up to the plate for what would be his final at-bat of collegiate ball, summer ball or otherwise. Ryan McCarthy was on second base, representing the go-ahead run in the 3-3 ball game.

Beavers fall short in critical game against Gulls
The Weyburn Beavers entered Tuesday night’s game against the Sylvan Lake Gulls with their playoff chances on the line. After Monday night’s loss, they would need to win out the final five games of the season and hope for some help from the opponents of the Swift Current 57s in order to clinch a berth in the postseason.

Home runs power Beavers to crucial victory
A three-run home run from Brayden Mayencourt, and a two-run blast from Ryan Muizelaar helped power the Weyburn Beavers to a 9-6 win over the Regina Red Sox Thursday night. The win snapped a three-game losing streak but would need some help from the Moose Jaw Miller Express in closing the gap on Swift Current for the final playoff berth in the East Division.
