It is time for the Spring Food Drive for the Rhineland & Area Food Bank!

Youth groups from all over Altona and the surrounding area will be coming together to collect donations this evening, however, they won't be knocking on the door or ringing the doorbell, they want you to simply leave your donations in a bag on the front step before 7:00pm and they will swing by to pick them up!

It's the 10th anniversary for the Run & Walk to Remember this Saturday in Altona, the 5k and 10k races are in honor of Curtis Klassen with funds raised going towards the Curtis Klassen fund and supporting projects in the community!

The Altona Health Care Auxiliary has hosted countless soup & pie fundraisers over the years, but for the very first time they are switching things up with a Taco Buffet Fundraiser, this Thursday, May 2nd!

It is taking place at the Rhineland Pioneer Center, 4:30-6:30pm, dine-in and takeout options available. Cost is by donation and all of the proceeds are going towards buying sixteen ceiling lifts and two specialized wheelchairs for the hospital.

It's been a long-standing tradition for 33 years, The Clean-a-Thon at Ecole West Park School! The grade 4-6 students are ready to grab their garbage bags and head out again this Thursday, May 2nd for the next one.
