Snow and ice mix to compromise road conditions in Humboldt

Take care on the roadways today, as a combination of established ice and new falling snow may make for interesting driving on area roadways. Several days of freezing drizzle have resulted in an accumulation of ice, particularly on streets. Light snowfall over the next 24 hours, driven by gusting easterly winds, are likely to polish those roadways further.

Environment Canada is expecting the moisture to move out within the next 24 hours. Consult with Highway Hotlines before heading out.
