Alberta RCMP are looking for a vehicle of interest that is believed to be involved in Tuesday's homicide investigation.

According to police, a white 2013 Dodge Ram truck may be related to a shooting that happened near the intersection of Range Road 282 and Township 250 in Rocky View County.

"The vehicle itself was stolen in Calgary on August 5, one day before the investigation commenced, at 5:55 a.m.," said Staff Sgt. Mark Wielgosz, the detachment commander for Strathmore RCMP.

The vehicle is described as having teal aftermarket rims, bullet shell-shaped lugnuts, and a decal that Wielgosz described as "commonly displayed in the province of Alberta". It was stolen from the 400 block of Abadan Place on the northeast end of the city.

"We're seeking the public's assistance to identify any video footage of this vehicle or the subjects who were in it between the time of its theft up until the time of the original shooting," added Wielgosz.

The shooting led to the injury of a FortisAlberta employee and the death of Rocky View County staffer Colin Hough.

The identities and descriptions of the suspects have not been released, and they remain at large.
