Strathmore RCMP are looking for the public's help in locating a stolen quad that may be related to a homicide investigation.
Police are investigating the theft of a quad that was reported stolen on August 7 at around 1:30 p.m. from a property in Wheatland County. According to a witness, a man was spotted driving the stolen quad.
Officers are asking rural residents around Strathmore to check their property in an attempt to locate the stolen quad. Anyone with information on the stolen quad or its driver is asked to contact Strathmore RCMP at 403-934-3968.
The homicide investigation began on Tuesday following a shooting outside of Strathmore. One person, a Rocky View County employee, was killed by the suspects.
The suspects remain at large, with police looking for information regarding a vehicle of interest, a potential witness, and a person of interest.
