On February 19, 2025, the Fort St John RCMP received information from the public about locating a stolen vehicle with suspects that were pointing firearms at them.
5 individuals were still in police custody at the time of the initial release. Since then the following charges have been sworn against the various individuals:
Gavin Davis, who was also arrested on outstanding warrants, is facing approved charges of Possession of Stolen Property over $5000, Robbery, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Breach of Release Order and Uttering Threats. Davis has been remanded into custody until his next court date of March 6, 2025.
Jack Capot Blanc is facing approved charges of Possession of Stolen Property over $5000 and Pointing a Firearm at a Person. Capot Blanc has been remanded into custody until his next court date of February 25, 2025.
Shianne Etzerza is facing approved charges of Possession of Stolen Property over $5000. Etzertza was released on a Release Order with a future court date of February 24, 2025.
Barbara Reno is facing approved charges of 355(a) Possession of Stolen Property over $5000. Reno was released on a Release Order with a future court date of February 24, 2025.
Jakob Sherwood was arrested with approved charges of 355(a) Possession of Stolen Property over $5000. Sherwood was released on a Release Order with a future court date of February 24, 2025.
