Grande Prairie RCMP lay charges after motor vehicle collision

Grande Prairie RCMP General Investigative Section have laid charges.

Following the initial response to the collision, a co-aligning criminal investigation was launched. As a result of this investigation, Edward Cameron (43) a resident of Grande Prairie, has been arrested and charged with:

-Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death (Two counts)
-Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm
-Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drug causing death (Two counts)
-Operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drug causing bodily harm

Following a judicial hearing, Cameron was released to later appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie on March 19, 2025.

As this matter is now before the courts no further updates are expected
