Whitecourt RCMP issue shelter in place

On Saturday, Whitecourt RCMP issued a shelter in place as they dealt with a firearms complaint.

Residents who lived in the area of 56 Avenue and 48 Street in Whitecourt were asked to stay in their homes, lock their doors, and stay away from all windows.

That same day the suspect was taken into custody and the shelter in place was lifted.
