Highway 3 east of Carman has re-opened to traffic after a crash this morning.

According to Pembina Valley RCMP, a westbound van veered into the eastbound lane. It missed a first oncoming pickup truck but crashed into a second pickup truck, near Road 21 West.

In a social media post, Carman-Dufferin Fire Department says the truck flipped onto its roof and slid into the north ditch of the highway.

One person from each vehicle was brought to hospital by paramedics, with undetermined injuries.

Investigation is ongoing.

The highway was closed for about 1.5 hours as crews worked to clean up debris.
