Parker Kellington has been putting in a lot of work during the off-season to showcase his football skills.

From Aug. 3 to 7, Kellington took part in a University of Alberta Golden Bears prep football camp.

On the final day of the camp, it was announced that he would be receiving a $1000 scholarship courtesy of the Edmonton Elks to continue his development with the Golden Bears football program.

Kellington was selected for the scholarship by the head coach of the Golden Bears football program, Chris Morris.

He is now entering his senior year at Bev Facey High School in Sherwood Park, where he will continue to play football for the school team.
