Whether entry-level or experienced, there may be something for you at the PME job fair.

The job fair is on Aug. 31 from 10 a.m-2 p.m. at Careers Under Construction (9821 108 Street). PME is looking for over 100 labourers, equipment operators, and carpenters to join their team.

PME specializes in areas such as earthworks and underground piping. They're one of the many companies that use Careers Under Construction to help reach out to residents in search of employment.

Tanya Shewchuk, program manager at Careers Under Construction, says they usually do a career fair about once a month.

"We could have one every day!" Shewchuk laughed.

People looking to apply are advised to bring their resumes and copies of safety tickets.

"They will be hiring on the spot or interviewing on the spot, so be prepared like coming in for a normal interview."

Careers Under Construction also helps the community through resume creation, career consultations and weekly workshops.
