There are going to be a ton of events and performers down at Kinsmen Park for Canada Day today and one of them is Strathmore's own Expression the Dance Gallery.
Expressions will be performing nine numbers from its competitive and junior competitive teams. Dancers from the age of 8 all the way up to the age of 16 will be there to showcase their talent.
Office Manager of Expressions the Dance Gallery Michelle Murdoch said that they will be performing quite a few genres.
"We will be performing dances like jazz, ballet, and musical theater. It will be entertaining, fun, and really exciting and the girls are always really excited when they get to perform."
On Canada Day, you will be able to see what the dancers have been working on since October for the competition teams.
"These are numbers that have gone to competition all last spring. We started to prepare in March and April last year, all these dances have made it to the competition stage, and they have been performing them all year."
Dancers from Expressions the Dance Gallery will be performing at the Amphitheatre in Kinsmen Park today starting at 11:45 a.m.
If you would like to be a dancer for Expressions, registration will be open next week. For more information email edgdancestrathmore@gmail.com.
