It will be a return to the glory days in Marysburg on Sunday.
The Marysburg and area choir will be performing some of the festive favourites inside of the Marysburg Assumption Church with a “Welcome Back to a Marysburg Christmas.”
One of the members of the choir, John Brinkmeier says this will mark the first performance for the group since COVID pandemic.
Quarterback Trevor Harris will be back in Saskatchewan in 2025
The Saskatchewan Roughriders have checked off a major item on their offseason shopping list.
On Friday, the football club announced a one-year contract extension for quarterback Trevor Harris.

Executive Director Janine Hart says they’ve received a notice from Santa that he will be making an appearance at the Humboldt Regional Newcomer Centre on Friday, December 20 at 7:00.

Weekend Update: HCI Drama Department to hit the stage with Matilda
After weeks of preparation, it’s almost showtime for the Humboldt Collegiate Institute (HCI) Drama Department, as they will be performing Roald Dahl’s Matilda, the musical, at the end of the month with a couple of performances beginning on Friday, November 29.
Brittany Petit, a teacher at HCI says the students have been working on the musical over the last two months.

The Canada Post Strike has thrown a wrinkle into the Humboldt District Hospital Foundation’s (HDHF) Christmas Angel Appeal.
Over 5,000 Christmas Angel Cards are ready to be mailed out to donors for this year's campaign.
Executive Director Lorrie Bunko says they would prefer to send out the cards to their donors with a personalized message and to thank them for their continued support.
City investigating ramp issues with Mobility Van
With expanded services of the mobility van in Humboldt arriving soon, City Council explored an issue with the current van.
There was an inquiry about the status of the van's ramp with residents concerned about the steepness of the ramp.
City Controller Jace Porten noted the ramp is a tri-fold ramp, that folds itself when it comes into the van.
Watrous begins Christmas celebrations with tree lighting on Monday night
An extra glow will shine from Watrous beginning on Monday night.
The spirit of Christmas will officially ignite when they hold their tree lighting.
It will be held inside Cenotaph Park at 7:00.
Broncos begin southern road swing in Wilcox against the Notre Dame Hounds
After avoiding their third straight loss on Saturday in La Ronge, the Humboldt Broncos will try and return to their winning ways tonight.
They will be in Wilcox to meet the Notre Dame Hounds in the first of a two-game southern road trip.
This season the Broncos haven't lost three games in a row.
Assistant Coach Carter Hansen said following Saturday’s game that it's important for the team to avoid a prolonged slump.
