Lucky 7's: Red Wings extend their win streak in Flin Flon
The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings concluded their far northern road trip with a spirited 4-1 win over the Flin Flon Bombers. Back-to-back contests in the incredibly tough Whitney Forum, the Red Wings now extend their win streak to seven games.
Braigh LeGrandeur got it started for the Red Wings halfway into the first period with a friendly bounce off of a skate for his third of the year at 10:36 assisted by Cyprus Smith-Davis and Lucas Schmid.

The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings extended their win streak to six with a 2-1 win over the Flin Flon Bombers. An unusually low scoring affair for the Red Wings, as in each of their previous five games they’ve scored six or more goals. The Red Wings don’t mind however, as this win now moves them into fifth place in the SJHL standings.

Clubroot is a soil-borne disease that attacks the roots of the canola plant, causing swelling and galls to form on the roots and kill the plant. It also has no economical control measures that could counteract the disease which means once it gets into your field, it's there forever.

Norm McFadden seeking second term as Reeve for the R.M. of Weyburn
Norm McFadden announced earlier this week his bid for re-election as Reeve of the R.M. of Weyburn No. 67.
Thanks to some help from the people around him, McFadden said these last four years have flown by for him.
