The Speaker of the Manitoba legislature has apologized for saying an Opposition question was out of line and is threatening to toss politicians from the chamber if chaotic behaviour continues.
Tom Lindsey issued the apology a day after question period descended into a shouting match.

Bible spelling bee builds faith and fellowship among Winnipeg youth
From spelling Bible terms to sword drills and quizzes, several students recently took part in the Bible Spelling Bee.
Semilore, Peniel, and Abimbola from Redeemed Christian Church of God, House of Victory, were on the winning team.
When asked why he participated in the Spelling Bee, Semilore said he wanted a challenge. "I wanted to give myself a challenge to see how good I was."
Ghanaian roots and Christian faith shine in Emmy Xornam’s latest song
A new song has been released from Made in Manitoba artist, Emmy Xornam all about the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus dying on the cross.
Xornam hopes that after hearing "The Sacrifice," listeners will meditate on the ultimate sacrifice. "As Christians, the sacrifice of Jesus is the foundation of our belief. If Jesus did not actually go to the cross to make the sacrifice and to resurrect and come for us, we wouldn't actually have had hope and belief. I just want people to know that they've been justified."
15-year-old faces weapons charges after gun scare at Winnipeg mall
A 15-year-old boy is facing weapons-related charges after an incident at CF Polo Park Mall Tuesday afternoon.
Just before 3 p.m., officers were called to the busy mall for the report of a young man brandishing a handgun in the food court.
Mall security kept an eye on the suspect until officers arrived, letting officers know that the firearm had been discharged within the mall.
Two youths were arrested without incident in the mall's food court, and an airsoft pistol was seized from one of the suspects.
No one was injured.

Helga Guenter, 86, of Winnipeg formerly of Snowflake, passed away Friday, April 18th at Grace Hospital. She is survived by her husband Bill, 1 daughter, 1 son, 2 sisters, and 4 brothers. She was predeceased by 2 brothers.
The funeral service for Helga Guenter will be held Friday, April 25th at 11am at Sargent Avenue Mennonite Church, 926 Garfield Street, with burial at Springstein Cemetery.

Pastor Max Lucado marks 50 Years of grace with tattoo tribute to Christ
Max Lucado, pastor at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas, celebrated his golden anniversary of God's grace by getting a tattoo.
"50 years ago this spring, grace found me," said Max in a post. "My testimony is interwoven with my favourite word in the Bible. On the cross, Christ proclaimed, 'It is finished!' (Jn. 19:30) In Greek- “Tetelestai!” Among the meanings of this word is 'paid in full.'"
Pastor Lucado says it was that message that changed his life. Before finding God, he says his life revolved around everything but his faith.

The funeral service for Willliam Willy Friesen will be held Thursday, April 24th at 11am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Heritage Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the chapel prior to the service.
