Trust, integrity, and quality central to Little Luxuries’ big success
It was a leap of faith and a test of courage that led Lisa to establish Little Luxuries House & Carpet Cleaning.
After 15 years in a career that was no longer fulfilling her, and just having gotten off a night shift and contemplating her future, she visited her brother for a morning cup of coffee and prayed.
"God, please reveal to me my strengths and the wisdom you created me for. Help me figure out which direction to go in. No sooner had I said this when a gentleman walked into my brother’s yard.”
Verse of the Day: September 5
Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Poilievre calls on Liberals to scrap the temporary foreign worker program
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is calling on the Liberals to scrap the temporary foreign worker program, arguing it has caused an employment crisis among young Canadians.
"The Liberals have to answer why is it that they're shutting our own youth out of jobs and replacing them with low-wage, temporary foreign workers from poor countries who are ultimately being exploited," Poilievre told a news conference Wednesday morning in Mississauga, Ont.
"We want Canadian workers to have Canadian jobs. We want to bring back high wages."
