Hannah Kerr welcomes motherhood after answered prayers

Christian artist Hannah Kerr alongside her husband, Jason Earley, is sharing exciting baby news. 

"PRAISE GOD!!!!!!" says Kerr on social media. "We’re having a baby!!! 🥹 It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are for this precious gift."

The singer released her album As I Am in August 2024, with 14 songs, including "Fear Not."

'Canadian Dave' on surviving Taliban captivity: 77 days of fear, faith, and resilience

Dave Lavery coined 'Canadian Dave,' was released three weeks ago after being held captive by the Taliban for 77 days. Lavery is sharing what got him through that gruelling situation. 

"I was born in Winnipeg in 1960," says Lavery. "Right now we're living overseas in Dubai. I'm now in Perth, Ontario visiting family and I'll be heading off to Vancouver. It's so good to be here with this foundation."

Phil Wickham releases new song for the Church

Award-winning singer-songwriter Phil Wickham has released a new track written with the Church in mind. 

Wickham said on social media when he wrote "The King is in the Room", "I had the church (sic) in mind—God’s people coming together, preparing their hearts, and enthroning Him upon their praise. I can’t wait to sing it in more rooms and hear churches lift their voices alongside me."

The Illuminate Hope Gala was a beautiful reminder of the resiliency of the human spirit Thursday evening, appropriately taking place at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg. 

"The goal is really to elevate the issue of human trafficking and gather the community around this cause," says Janet Campbell, the President and CEO of the Joy Smith Foundation. "To make sure they have information and hopefully inspire them by what they learn and hear today."

Chris Tomlin steps into filmmaking as executive producer of The Last Supper

Award-winning singer and songwriter Chris Tomlin has added a new title to his name. 

Pinnacle Peak Pictures announced Tomlin as the executive producer on their upcoming film, The Last Supper.
