3 killed in clashes between United Methodist members in Nigeria
A dispute between members of the United Methodist Church in Nigeria and the Global Methodist Church (GMC) escalated to violence Sunday, resulting in three fatalities.
Nigerian news outlet The Guardian reported that the clash began after one group “unsealed” a church building, leading the other group to do the same. Local Methodist churches had previously been shut down by the state government to calm ongoing tensions.

Great news for fans of I Can Only Imagine. Lionsgate and Kingdom Story Company announced on Friday that a sequel to the breakout hit movie will be released in the new year.
I Can Only Imagine, based on Mercy Me's song of the same name, was released in 2018 and brought in over $83 million in domestic box office.
The sequel will continue the inspirational true story of Bart Millard, once again played by John Michael Finley.

Dallas Jenkins took to social media over the weekend to announce some exciting family news.
On Sunday, Jenkins, creator and executive producer of The Chosen and director of The Best Christmas Pagent Ever shared that his oldest daughter was engaged.
"My oldest daughter Maya is engaged! My goodness," said Dallas in a post on Facebook.
Denzel Washington gets baptized, shares 'It’s my job to lift God up'
Right before his 70th birthday Hollywood actor Denzel Washington took the step of faith and got baptized.
On Saturday, Dec. 21, Washington was baptized at Kelly Temple Church of God in Christ in New York City. The service was livestreamed on Facebook.
Not only did the service include Washington's baptism but he also received a minister license. This allows him to become ordained one day if he chooses.
14-year-old The Voice contestant performs with for KING & COUNTRY
14-year-old Jaukeem Fortson who made his name known in households across North America as a contestant on season 26 of The Voice was part of a special performance last week.
Fortson performed "God Only Knows" alongside for King & Country at the Grand Ole Opry on Dec. 19.
The performance blew away the crowd and Joel and Luke Smallbone.
Biblical spelling bee is coming to Winnipeg
Around 40 students participated in a scientific spelling bee and the organizer is giving all glory to God.
Titus Olukitibi is the founder and CEO of Raising the Foundations of Generations Inc. says that the event went beyond his expectation. "We want to give all glory to God. We're very pleased to see students attending the competition from different school divisions."

Canadian Christian artist Samantha Ebert was thrilled to hear that her single 'Flowers' made it on the NBA's top song playlist this year.
"Craziest text to wake up to," says Ebert on Instagram. "Huge shoutout to @buddylove from Golden State for making ‘Flowers’ your pre-game song."
Originally from the Bahamas, Buddy Hield is a shooting guard with the Golden State Warriors. After choosing Ebert's song for the pre-game playlist posted by Billboard, Hield even commented on her Instagram post saying "Fire song."

Ancient Stone Tablet Inscribed With Ten Commandments Sells For $5 Million At Auction
After 10 minutes of furious bidding, an inscribed marble slab featuring the Ten Commandments sold for $5.02 million on Wednesday at Sotheby’s auction house in New York.
The stone — written in archaic Samaritan Hebrew script — is the oldest known text of the Decalogue of its kind and estimated to have been carved sometime between 300 and 800 C.E.
The identity of the winning bidder was not disclosed.
Comedian Matt Rife opens up about faith, talks being baptized in a pool
Worldwide comedian Matt Rife, known for his raunchy humour, has recently opened up about getting baptized and what led to that decision.
The 29-year-old comedian who tours around the world with his comedy recently opened up about his faith on the History Hyenas podcast with Yannis Papas and Chris Distefano.
"I got baptized in August in a dude's pool," said Rife. "I've never been a super religious person, but when my grandpa passed away, something hit me that I was like, 'I'll never see this person again.'"
