Pastor Tony Evans surprises congregation with engagement announcement

Well-known author and senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Tony Evans, surprised his congregation on Sunday, announcing that he is engaged. 

Leading up to the fourth anniversary of his wife's death, 74-year-old Pastor Evans brought his family to the stage, honouring his late wife before making the announcement. 

'Coat Of Many Colors': Brandon Lake drops title track from upcoming album

Brandon Lake has released a new single in anticipation of his latest album, Coat Of Many Colors.

The single, which shares the name of the album, takes on the theme of different colours and what they represent. 

The album is Lake's third, and will be released on Oct. 20, 2023. 

The artist has already won five Grammy Awards, and will likely be in the running for more award nominations with the release.

Lake just finished a tour with Phil Wickham and is getting set to hit the road again, this time with Lauren Daigle through the fall.

Amy Grant set to release long awaited 18-track album in early October

It's been over a decade since Amy Grant last released an album, but that lapse in time will end next month when Grant releases her latest project, Lead Me On Live 1989.

This new 18-track album was originally recorded in 1988-1989 in Fort Worth, Texas, during her Lead Me on World Tour.

Christian singer and songwriter Leanna Crawford is officially married.

The artist, best known for her songs, 'Truth I'm Standing On' and 'How Can You Not,' married NBA player Cody Zeller two weeks ago on August 26, 2023, in a small, intimate wedding in Nashville, Tennessee.

The pair were engaged about a year ago, with Zeller proposing to Crawford while out for a hike.

The dynamic, multicultural youth ministry of Planetshakers Church, planetboom, is releasing a brand new single today, called “I Was Made For This - Demo.”

The new studio recording was produced by creative director Josh Ham, who also co-wrote the song with fellow planetboom worship leader Noah Walker, who is the featured vocalist on the track.

Legendary country music producer Tony Brown has teamed up with an array of award-winning artists for a new album paying tribute to beloved Christian songwriters, Bill and Gloria Gaither.

The 10-song collection, simply called Gaither Tribute, was released on August 25. It features Gaither compositions reinterpreted by artists, including Cece Winans, Alabama featuring The Oak Ridge Boys, Reba and Susie McEntire with Sonya and Becky Isaacs, Josh Turner, Jamey Johnson, Ronnie Dunn, Ronnie Milsap, Lee Ann Womack, The SteelDrivers, Hillary Scott and The Scott Family.

Kenyans commemorate life of slain priest whose murder remains unsolved

Catholics in Kenya commemorated the life of American missionary John Anthony Kaiser, a Catholic priest and human rights defender. He was particularly vocal in condemning politically motivated tribal clashes during the 1990s and whose assassination in the year 2000 shocked the country.

Kaiser, who was 67, is best remembered for having served among the poor while advocating for justice for the oppressed and respect for human rights.

Twenty-three years later, the actual motive of Kaiser’s murder remains unsolved, and his killers remain at large.

War in Ukraine has resulted in '50,000 social orphans': Mission organization

The war in Ukraine has caused a dramatic surge in the number of “social orphans,” according to a mission organization responding to an escalating crisis of child abandonment.

Ukrainian church leaders estimate there are as many as 50,000 “hidden” social orphans, children barely surviving under the radar who’ve been abandoned or severely neglected by their parents due to the ravages of war and fueled by addictions.
