The Pioneer Days Parade is taking place this Friday, celebrating some of the unique heritage of Steinbach.  

The forecast calls for sun, so bring along a hat, sunscreen, and some water to keep cool. While you enjoy the sun make sure to stay safe when grabbing some sweet treats from the street.  

Four days of prairie pride at the Threshermen’s Reunion

Thousands of people came to Austin, Manitoba, for the annual Manitoba Threshermen’s Reunion & Stampede. A one-of-a-kind celebration of prairie grit, horsepower, and deep-rooted traditions. With four days of heritage demos, rodeo thrills, and family fun, the event continues to draw everyone from first-time visitors to lifelong attendees.  

Woodridge's 125th anniversary brings community together through years of history

Woodridge is celebrating its 125th anniversary this weekend, bringing hard work and years of history together in one big celebration.   

The community of Woodridge had been working hard on this celebration for 7 months. Cory Jackson with the Woodridge Community Club says that this event is so successful because of the community volunteers.   

Fun filled days at Landmark Friendship Festival

Community spirit is high at the Landmark Friendship Festival, through rain and shine.   

Though the evening started off with an intense spurt of rain, community members were quick to help attach walls to the tent and stick around for an evening of fun.   

Organizers Aleah and Pam say that as new members to Landmark, it is great to see the sense of community at this event.  

Villa Youville Scooter Parade takes on the streets of Ste. Anne

Villa Youville launched the annual Scooter Parade through the streets of Ste. Anne.   

After a rainy day on Tuesday, the scooter parade was rescheduled, bringing balloons and music into the sunshine of Thursday.   

Residents and staff of Villa Youville, as well as the Phoenix cheer squad, prepared for the parade with pom-poms in hand.   

Big rides, bold races, and big crowds in Morris

The Manitoba Stampede & Exhibition brought thousands to Morris for three full days of western action, local flavours, and family fun, with activities starting early and running well into the night. This year’s event featured a stacked schedule of crowd favourites, from stock dog trials and rodeo events to circus shows, mounted shooters, and live music. 

Sunshine, rodeo, and mud racing draw families to The Arborg Ag Fair

The Arborg Agricultural Fair returned in full force this past weekend, filling the fairgrounds with a lively mix of horsepower, handmade goods, and hometown hospitality. 

Held just south of Arborg beside the Silver Community Centre, the two-day event ran Saturday and Sunday with everything from gymkhana events to wild pony races, local vendors, and two bustling beer gardens.
