Berniece Helen Tucken (nee: Thurston) age 97 of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away on September 18, 2024. She is survived by her 3 children: Patricia Dutton, Rhonda Opheim, and Brian Tucken. Berniece will be missed by a large extended family. As per her wishes no formal funeral services will be taking place.

Melva Marie Jurgens

It is with great sadness the family of Melva Marie Jurgens age 86 announce her passing on September 2, 2024 at the Meadows in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. The funeral mass was held on September 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Christ The Redeemer Roman Catholic Church in Swift Current, Saskatchewan with Father Daniel Malone officiating. The pallbearers were Grandson Carson Wiebe, Mike Erdahl, Gary Wilson, Florence Wilson, Archie Green and Kathy Green. The honorary pallbearers were her grandson Brandon Wiebe and all who shared in Melva’s life.

The funeral mass for Mr. Leo Laturnus of Swift Current, Saskatchewan and formerly of the Val Marie area, will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from Christ The Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Ferdinand Eusebio officiating.

Prayers will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Warren’s Funeral Home.

Hannah Irene Rehn

It is with great sadness the family of Hannah Irene Rehn announce her passing on August 29, 2024 at the Health Centre in Outlook, Saskatchewan at the age of 96.  Hannah was born in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan on September 3, 1927.  Hannah is survived by her children Rudy (Charlene), Brenda (Dean), Debbie (Howard), Cheryl (Arnold), her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her brother Vic (Joan).  She is predeceased by her loving husband Rudy of 55 years, her parents Mary and Ambrose, and her brothers Frank, Len and Herb.  Hannah enjoyed spending time with her family especially in Cypress Hills
