The funeral service for Mrs. Arlene Olson of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, will be held on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Patti Sherk officiating.

There will be a time for visitation on Sunday, May 26, 2024 from the Chapel of Warren’s Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m.

The interment service will take place at Nordland Church Cemetery.

The family of Gregory Wayne Smith are saddened to announce his passing on May 15, 2024.

Greg was born April 6, 1947 in Saskatoon, SK to Vernon and Joyce Smith and spent his childhood and school years in Davidson, SK. After high school, he obtained his education degree from the University of Saskatchewan and began his teaching career in Yorkton, SK at the early age of nineteen. Greg taught for ten years in Yorkton before coming to Swift Current where he taught at James O. Begg, Dickson, Fairview, Ashley Park and Central Schools, retiring after thirty years in 1997.

Mrs. Beatrice Long

May 3, 1952 – May 13, 2024

Beatrice Mae Long, much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2024 at the age of 72.

Born May 3, 1952 to Nick and Virginia Friesen in Swift Current Saskatchewan. Bea grew up on a farm near Waldeck alongside her older brother Wayne. She attended school in Waldeck and proudly completed her grade 12 year as part of the first graduating class from the Swift Current Comprehensive High School in June 1970, where she also completed a cosmetology program.

Betty Adeline Mann

The Celebration of Life for Mrs. Betty Mann will be taking place on Friday May 24, 2024 from 1:30-3:00 pm, at St. Mary’s Anglican Church Hall – 302 Jasper Street, Maple Creek.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mrs. Lillian May announces her passing at the Regina General Hospital on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the age of 88 years.
