On Sunday, November 27th at 3:00pm at The Lutheran Church of the Cross, The Winnipeg Wind Ensemble will be putting on a concert that they are calling “Many Moods.”

From Sunday November 20th to Saturday November 26th, The Canadian Federation of Music Teachers is celebrating the 61st annual Canada Music Week.

This Sunday November 20th through to Saturday, November 26 is Canada Music week. Music students and teachers from across the country will celebrating the vibrant music education landscape that runs from coast, to coast, to coast.

This Sunday, November 20th, at 3:00pm at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, the Mennonite Community Orchestra will be presenting a concert they are calling “The Power of Love.” This concert is a collaboration with the Mennonite Disaster Service.

This Friday, November 18th at 7:30pm at Crescent Fort Rouge United Church,  The Fresh Blood Project in conjunction with Winnipeg’s GroundSwelll will be presenting Fresh Blood Project 3.

This Sunday, November 13th at 2:30pm at Chapel Lawn, the “Ring Out” Hand bell Quartet will be joined by the “At Last” vocal quartet in a concert they are calling “Bells and Voices.” This is a concert that will feature traditional favorites such as Simple Gifts and Amazing Grace, as well as some less familiar selections performed by each of the quartets.

Manitoban artists continue to impact Christian music and are leading the charge into next month's GMA Covenant Awards with 45 nominations.

A total of 13 artists are nominated across a variety of categories, from rap to instrumental and everywhere in between. The GMA Covenant Awards are Canada's highest honour in Christian music.

On Tuesday, October 18th at 7:30pm at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, Winnipeg’s GroundSwell will present their second concert of the season called “Standing Wave: Ex Machina”. This concert will feature “The Standing Wave Ensemble” from Western Canada. Made up of six virtuoso musicians, the Standing Wave Ensemble has mesmerized audiences throughout the world with their intrepid performances, of the latest in boundary breaking new music.
