Border Land School Division monitoring Piney fire closely
Border Land School Division (BLSD) officials are keeping an eye on the wildfire burning in the RM of Piney around Carrick, Badger, St. Labre and Florze.
While none of the people evacuated from Carrick or Badger are students or staff from the division, that is not the case for staff living in Woodridge who were evacuated Wednesday evening, noted Superintendent Krista Curry. Tips for breeding season success
For cow-calf operations, a major driver of profitability is reproductive efficiency, or the number of calves weaned per cow exposed. There are a lot of factors influencing this outcome, from breeding time through weaning. However, some considerations can be looked at well before the breeding season begins.

As of April 30th, there have been 17 cases of avian influenza, with three in British Columbia, one in Alberta, three in Saskatchewan, and two in Manitoba.
