Credit union merger proposal approved by boards; member vote to come

Unprecedented 17.75 litres of GHB seized en route to Weyburn residence
Significant amounts of Gamma-Hydroxybutyrate (GHB) were seized in Weyburn last Friday, April 4th, when the Weyburn Police Service in collaboration with the Vancouver Police Department Gang Crime Unit intercepted a package en route to a Weyburn residence.
The package was thoroughly searched, uncovering approximately 17.75 litres of GHB. Deputy Police Chief with the Weyburn Police Service says this quantity is unheard of, even by the Vancouver department.
Sask. government allocates $1.1M from seized assets to support police, victims
A new round of funding from Saskatchewan’s Criminal Property Forfeiture Fund to the tune of $1.1 million was announced on Friday at the Moose Jaw Police Station.

Ziprick commits to Bemidji State University
MOOSE JAW, SK – The Moose Jaw Warriors are excited to announce that 19-year-old defenceman Aiden Ziprick has committed to Bemidji State University for the 2026-27 season.
