Funeral For:  Werner Trapp 
Funeral Date: June 19, 2025 
Werner Trapp, 98, of Steinbach passed away Wednesday, June 11th at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. He is survived by 2 sons, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Helene, 1 sister, and 1 brother. 
The funeral service for Werner Trapp will be held Thursday, June 19th at 1pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Heritage Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at Birchwood Funeral Chapel Wednesday, June 18th from 7 to 8pm. 

Funeral For:  Fred Wanke 
Funeral Date: June 21, 2025 
Fred Wanke, 90, of Menisino passed away Sunday, January 26th at Vita Personal Care Home. He is survived by his wife Margit, 5 sons, 2 sisters, 1 brother, and their families. He was predeceased by 1 son, 1 brother, and 2 brothers-in-law. 
A memorial service for Fred Wanke will be held Saturday, June 21st at 11am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel.

The Graveside Service for the late Bea Brabender of Climax will be held on Tuesday, June 17th at 2:00 p.m. from Climax Cemetery in Climax. Interment for the late Bea Brabender will take place at Climax Cemetery at Climax. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon is in charge of the arrangements. Dorothy Alice Decksheimer

1930 – 2025

FOREVER AT PEACE

We are sad to say good-bye to our mother, Dorothy Alice (Mattson) Decksheimer. Mom passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 8, 2025 one day short of her 95th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband, Marvin Decksheimer. She was loved and will be missed by her children - Sandi, Randy (Brenda), Judy, Doug (Darla), Rod (Kathie), Scott (Kara) and 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.  

CHELL

Jody Chell aged 50 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Saturday, May 31st, 2025.  Jody was born in 1974 in Thompson, Manitoba, with her younger brother, Toban Chell, arriving a few years later.  Jody is survived by her daughter, Samantha Nestman; father, Tim Chell; brother, Toban Chell; her best friend, Ivan Hicks; as well as many beloved extended family members and friends. 

Barb Herbert (née Hetherington)
November 12, 1956 – June 5, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Barb Herbert on Thursday, June 5, 2025, in the backyard of her Sylvan Lake home—her sanctuary and her pride and joy.

Funeral For:  Wilhelm Bill Rempel 
Funeral Date: June 18, 2025 
Wilhelm Bill Rempel, 96, of Winkler formerly of Rosetown, passed away Wednesday, June 11th at Boundary Trails Health Centre. He is survived by his wife Katharina, 2 daughters, 3 sons, 2 sisters, and their families. He was predeceased by 1 sister, 1 brother, 2 half-sisters, and 1 half-brother. 
The funeral service for Wilhelm Bill Rempel will be held Wednesday, June 18th at 2pm at Blumenort Mennonite Church, Rosetown with burial at Kronsthal Cemetery. 

Beryl Ann Chapman, aged 83, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at The Meadows Care Home in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

The Memorial Service to honour Beryl's life will be held at 2 PM on Friday, June 20th, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church (665 Central Ave N)

Trevor Stacey May, late of Regina, SK, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the age of 55 years. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Glenn and Jeanette Mabee, Wilbur and Hertha May, and his aunts Susan Carlson, Marcia Mabee and Patricia May.
