Surrounded by the love of her family, Sherry Leigh peacefully passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the age of 60 years. Sherry was born January 27, 1965, in Winnipeg, MB to Bill and Charlotte Gibson.
There will be no formal service at this time.

Helen Molly Machmer

Helen Molly Machmer (Mochoruk) went to her heavenly home Sunday May 25, 2025. Mom was born in the Krydor District, SK, on May 4, 1926. She was the ninth of 12 siblings to Fred and Melinda Mochoruk.

Mom was predeceased by her parents; sisters Mary, Anne, Stella and Lena; brothers Richard, John Peter, Harry Michael, Steve and Alexander; husband Peter; infant son Donald and step-grandson Kevin.

It is with great sadness that the family of Timothy Steven Hrynkiw announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 63 years of age.

Tim is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Irene Hrynkiw; his children, Amber (Brandon) Antonick and Mitchell (Makenzi) Hrynkiw; and his cherished grandchildren, Braxton, Aspyn, and Kyson, who brought immense joy to his life.

He is also mourned by his parents, Steven and Adline Hrynkiw; his siblings, Bernadette Sawka and Fr. Gregory Hrynkiw; and his mother-in-law, Olga Kozun.

Louise Friesen, 96, of Winnipeg formerly of Crystal City, passed away Tuesday, May 27th at Winnipeg. She is survived by 2 daughters, 4 sons, 1 sister, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband George, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and 1 grandson. 
The funeral service for Louise Friesen will be held Saturday, May 31st at 1:30pm at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford Street, with burial prior to the service at Sage Creek Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband Elmer, children Michael (Chantelle), Kristine, Kelly, and Kelsey; her grandchildren Zachary, Nathaniel, Zoe, Emma, Benjamin, and Alexander; her brother Jake and sister Tina (John); along with many nieces and nephews. Sarah is pre-deceased by her parents Johann and Maria Guenter; her brothers Cornie, Peter, John, and Abe; and her sisters Maria, Judith, and Mary.
