It is great sadness and much love we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, sister and friend Debra "Debbie" May Hubick (nee: Bleackley), who passed away at the Weyburn General Hospital on July 27, 2025 at the age of 69.

Debbie was predeceased by her parents, Don and Dorothy Grams; her grandparents, Hilda and Fraser Bleackley.

With profound sadness, we announce the sudden death of Patrick “Pat” James Dean.

Pat was born in Calgary Alberta, on May 10th,1957 and raised in Drayton Valley Alberta. He travelled all over Saskatchewan as an RCMP and would eventually retire in Weyburn Saskatchewan. Pat died on July 20th, 2025, in Kennedy Saskatchewan.

It is with deep heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Donna Lee Sellinger — beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend — on July 24, 2025, at home in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, at the age of 72.

Raymond Henry Heidinger
1936 - 2025

Raymond Heidinger passed away on Friday, July 22, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Long Term Care, Estevan, SK at the age of 88 years old. Raymond was born on November 2, 1936 in Lampman, Saskatchewan, the 5th child to John and Katherine Heidinger.

A Celebration of Life is being held at the Agricultural Hall in Mankota, SK, on August 16th at 2:00 pm. There will be a private family internment at Val Marie Cemetery at a later date.

Bernadette Marie Larson nee Hataley age 73, formerly of Mankota, SK, passed away at the Yorkton Regional Hospital on June 23rd, 2025 after a brief battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome.

The family of Ruth Kon are saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, July 24th, 2025, only 3 days after her 94th birthday.

Ruth Married Fred Kon, November 27th, 1954 in Calgary, Alberta. During their marriage Ruth enjoyed the farm life.

Together they had 3 children: Barry (Sandi) Kon, Pamela (Jody) Veer, and the late Murray Kon.

Eleanor Orchard, 94, of Carman passed away Saturday, July 26th at Carman Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her children Bryan (Crystal), Bruce (Colleen), Wayne (Kyla); grandchildren, Austin, Liam, Ryan, Sierra, Alexander & Isabella; nieces & nephews. Kathy Falk nee Peters, 68, of the Gretna area formerly of Reinland, passed away Thursday, July 24th at Lake of the Woods District Hospital, Kenora. She is survived by her husband Ken Falk, their children Nathan (Cheryl) Falk, and Daryl Falk, as well as 2 grandsons, 1 sister and 2 brothers. She was predeceased by her parents Peter W. J. and Nettie Peters, and 1 sister.

Abram Abe Fehr, 86, of Steinbach passed away Thursday, July 24th at Bethesda Regional Health Centre. He is survived by his wife Agatha, 4 daughters, 3 sons, 1 sister, 4 brothers, and their families. He was predeceased by 2 grandsons, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers. 
The funeral service for Abram Abe Fehr will be held Wednesday, July 30th at 1pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Heritage Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at the chapel prior to the service.

Betty Anne Funk (nee Barkman), 77, of Steinbach passed away Tuesday, July 22nd at Rest Haven Care Home in Steinbach. She is survived by her children Kathryn, Karla (Steve), and Michael (Megan), her grandchildren, Kayden and Hazel, and several step-great/grandchildren. She is survived by sister Shirley, brother Johnny, and sisters in law Laura (Levi), and Hilda (Pete). She was predeceased by 5 brothers, 2 sisters, and her parents, Jacob and Helena Barkman.
