John Frederick Bonter 

John Frederick Bonter passed away quietly in the early morning of Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on March 4, 1942, to Edward Wesley and Ella Irene Bonter in Sapperton, BC, John was one of their five siblings, and the family lived mainly in the City of Surrey, British Columbia. John worked in Accounting and also extensively in Long Distance Trucking. Over a decade ago, John moved back to his desired Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, near what was Moose Jaw Bible College, now Aldersgate College, where he loved his studies in his youth. 

Nicholas "Nick" Besplug Obituary

1935 ~ 2024 (age 89)

It is with great sadness that the family of Nick Besplug announce his passing on

Friday, November 15th, 2024 at the age of 89.

Beloved husband of Wendy Besplug;

loving father of Nicole (Derek) Meschishnick and Randy (Carrie) Besplug;

grandfather of Korie (Tyler) Reinbold, Sloan Clark, and Ava, and Sophie Besplug;

great- grandfather of Collins and Reide Reinbold.

Nick is survived by his brother Leo (Violet) Besplug and many nieces and nephews.

Sylvia Mutcheson, 95, of Morden passed away Friday, November 15th at Tabor Home. She is survived by her children, Heather (Richard Condo), Maureen (widow of Michael), Raymond (Candace), Laura (Ray Rawlings), Jim (Loretta), Jack (Janice), Jill (widow of Joey) and Matt (Crystal). She was deeply devoted to all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her son, Michael, her husband Jim and most recently her son, Joey.

Winnie Warkentin, 88, of Winnipeg passed away Friday, November 8th at Grace Hospital. She is survived by 1 brother and his family. She was predeceased by 1 sister and 1 brother. 
The funeral service for Winnie Warkentin will be held Thursday, November 21st at 1:30pm at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. 
Viewing will be at Friends Funeral Service Wednesday, November 20th from 5:30 to 7pm.

Leo Braun, 79, of Niverville formerly of Blumenort, passed away Wednesday, November 13th at DeSalaberry District Health Centre. He is survived by 1 daughter, 1 son and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Linda. 
The celebration of life for Leo Braun will take place Wednesday, November 20th at 2pm at Crossings Funeral care, Steinbach.

Verna Hiebert nee Bergen, 100, of Winkler passed away Thursday, November 7th at Tabor Home. She is survived by 1 daughter, 3 sons, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Abram W. Hiebert.  
A memorial service for Verna Hiebert nee Bergen will be held Thursday, 11am at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church with burial prior to the service.  
Donations may be made to Canadian Foodgrains Bank.

Marion Hiebert, 81, of Burlingtion, Ontario, formerly of Steinbach passed away Wednesday November 13 in Hamilton Ontario. 
She is survived by 2 sisters, 1 brother and their families. She was predeceased by 1 brother.  
The Celebration of Life for Marion Hiebert will be held November 17th, 3pm at Hamilton Christian Fellowship, Ontario. Cremation has taken place. 
Donations can be made to Bob Kemp Hospice.

Wayne D. Kroetsch, 88, of Morden passed away Wednesday, November 13th at Boundary Trails Health Centre. He is survived by his wife Lorraine, 1 daughter, 2 sons and their families. 
The celebration of life for Wayne D. Kroetsch will take place at a later date.

Alec Donald Pattison came into this world in a hurry, and he never stopped. He was always busy, never stopping to take a breath. When it came to fixing anything most came his way, whether it be bikes, cars, or snowmobiles, he could fix anything. His smile could light up a room, and he could talk his way into, or out of just about anything.

We will miss you my son, but now you are at peace, and you can finally rest. I am sure you made many friends from Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan, and to those, I wish you peace as well.
