Katharina Friesen nee Banman, 81, of Winkler passed away Tuesday, August 6th at Foyer Notre Dame. She is survived by 5 daughters, 1 son, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Gerhard George Friesen.  
The funeral service for Katharina Friesen nee Banman will be held Saturday, August 10th at 2pm at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church.

Mark Donald Jeworski, late of Halbrite, SK passed away July 30, 2024 at the age of 49 years.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Midale, SK with Pastor Sharon Kane officiating. Luncheon will follow at the Harry O. Memorial Arena, Midale, SK.

Helen Penner, 89, of Steinbach formerly of Niverville, passed away Friday, August 2nd at Rest Haven Care Home. She is survived by 1 son, 5 grandchildren, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Wilbert, 1 daughter, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. 
The funeral service for Helen Penner will be held Friday, August 9th at 11am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel with burial at Heritage Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at the chapel prior to the service.

It is with great sadness that we tell you Joanne Weisgerber (nee Ganje) passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, August 1, 2024, in Kelowna, BC, surrounded by her family and her beloved dog, Ellie.

JAMES “JIM” NORMAN BOYACHEK

November 13, 1954 to August 3, 2024

In the early morning hours of August 3, 2024, Jim Boyachek (aged 69) passed away at his home with family in attendance.

Jim is survived by his wife Sandra (Hogaboam) and their daughter Charlene, grandsons Hudson and Hanley Boak and their father Sean Boak.  Also, brother Owen, sister Ellie (Russ Adams and son Billy), and brother Alex (son Travis Lewadniuk).

Erin Wade Anderson, formerly of Rossendale, passed away in Portage la Prairie, on July 4, 2024 at the age of 60.  

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Stacey, daughter Keeley, and son Kieran. Mother: Katherine, Brothers: Kevin (Bonnie), Shawn (Trish) Nephews: Connor and Reese, and Neice: Ryleigh, Mother and Father-in-Law Warren and Heather Callaghan, Sister-in-Law Darcee (Mark) McJannet, Nephew: Michael, and Niece: Madison.

Gina Desjarlais of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the age of 46 years.

Gina was born in Kindersley, SK, on June 21, 1978. The Desjarlais' lived in the trailer court for a few years before settling into the family home on West Road. Gina lived in Kindersley, SK, Saskatoon, SK, Fort St. John, BC, and finally settled in Calgary, AB.
