It is with tremendous sorrow and heartache that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Blake Carr in Estevan, SK on Thursday, April 24, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mary Jane ‘Lyla’ Thevenot


Peacefully on April 28, 2025, Lyla Thevenot passed away at the St. Claude Pavillion at the age of 92 years.

Lyla was born on the family homestead near Haywood, MB on November 4, 1932to her loving parents André and Josephine Morriseau.

The funeral service for Mrs. Viola Lavallee, will be taking place at 11:00 am, on Thursday May 1, from Notre Dame d ’Auvergne Catholic Church in Ponteix, Saskatchewan, with Father Jules Adator officiating.

A private family internment service will be taking place at a later date.

BETTY VIOLA BELLEGARDE (née: Stone)

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Betty Viola Bellegarde announces the passing of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt on Thursday, April 24th, 2025.

Funeral For:  Edwin Klassen 
Funeral Date: May 2, 2025 
Edwin Klassen, 89, of Winkler passed away Sunday, April 27th at Boundary Trails Health Centre. He is survived by his wife Edna, 1 daughter and 2 sons. He was predeceased by 1 sister and 2 brothers.  
A memorial service for Edwin Klassen will be held Friday, 11am at Grace Mennonite Church, Winkler with ash interment.

The Funeral Service for the late Jeanette Onerheim of Frontier will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Lutheran Church in Frontier with Pastor Leon Johnston officiating. Interment for the late Jeanette Onerheim will take place at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery at Frontier. Binkley’s Funeral Service of Shaunavon is in charge of the arrangements.

Donald Arthur Pequin passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.

Martha Unger nee Goertzen, 77, of Winkler passed away Saturday, April 26th at Boundary Trails Health Centre. She is survived by her husband John, 2 daughters, 9 grandchildren, 5 sisters, 1 brother, and their families. She was predeceased by 1 brother. 
The funeral service for Martha Unger nee Goertzen will be held Thursday, May 1st at 2pm at Winkler Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at Westridge Memorial Gardens.

Funeral Date: April 29, 2025 
Martha Kehler, 86, of MacGregor passed away Thursday, April 24th at MacGregor.  
The funeral service for Martha Kehler will be held Tuesday, April 29th at 2pm at MacGregor Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial at Austin Sommerfeld Cemetery. 
Viewing will be at Clarke’s Funeral Home, MacGregor Monday, April 28th from 5 to 7pm.
