Terrance Brent Steeden

 April 21, 1948  -  September 29, 2023

     It is with sad hearts that we share the passing of Terry at Boundary Trails Hospital - on the exact day that his mother passed 48 years before in 1975.

     Terry was born in Winnipeg and was the chosen son of Clifford (Kip) and Audrey Steeden. He was raised in a busy, happy home surrounded by two sisters, two brothers - and many foster children.

     Three things he thoroughly enjoyed in his life were hockey - music - and movies.

Andrew David Johnston

Andy passed away September 20, 2023 at Portage & District General Hospital, where he received care  for the past five weeks.   

Andy was the second son of Bob & Joyce Johnston, born December 18, 1950 in Neepawa, MB.  He attended High School at Gladstone, MB while working several jobs, one of which was working for John Hammond in the funeral home, as well as the local gift shop.  He also worked for Oscar Wallin, the local Case Dealer. 

Helen Strelic (nee Bereza)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving Mother surrounded by family on September 04, 2023 at Douglas Campbell Lodge following a short illness at the age of 91.  Mom was born June 20, 1932 daughter of Nellie and Andrew Bereza in Russell, MB.

Quietly, on August 16, 2023, our Mom, Grandma, and Sister, Lois Joan Lowdon (nee Maloney) passed away with family by her side. She was 90 years old.

Lori Gaye Heather Peters

On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, Lori Gaye Heather Peters of Edwin, MB, passed away at Portage General Hospital at the age of 51 years.

Viewing will be held at the Omega Funeral Home on Sunday evening, August 6, 2023, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.

Judith Eleanor Thelma Troop (Cutler)

     The family is sad to announce that Judith (Judy) peacefully passed away on July 15th at the Neepawa Hospital at the age of 94 ½ years. 

     To honor Judy, family will celebrate her life privately, with interment in the family plot at Burnside Cemetery.

Robbie Wade Leslie

In sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our brother and uncle, Robbie Leslie, on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the age of 63 years. 

Robbie was the beloved son of the late Marge & Alan Leslie of Poplar Point, MB.

Left to cherish his memory; his sister Lynn (Darryl) White, brothers; Murray, Luke, Doug (Charlene), Cam (Cindy).

Robbie was an uncle to Jeff, Dale, Karly, Jay, Mike, Derek, Mandy, Cheri, Danny, Chloe and Max. 

Viewing and visitation will be held one hour prior to the Funeral Service at Omega Funeral Home, 83 Royal Rd. S., Portage la Prairie, MB on Wednesday, July 12th at 1:00 p.m. with Wilma Shirriff officiating. Interment at Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Little, Leslie Little, Paul Little, Laird Little, Jeremiah Sorrell, and Matthew Driedger.
