The Liberals are about to choose the next prime minister. What happens next?
The Liberals will choose a new leader Sunday, marking the end of Justin Trudeau's decade as prime minister.
He will step down officially in the days to come. On Tuesday, Trudeau said he will have a conversation with the incoming leader to determine exactly when that will happen.
"It should happen reasonably quickly, but there's a lot of things to do in a transition like this, particularly in this complicated time in the world," Trudeau said.

After dropping three straight games, the Winnipeg Jets have turned things around with back-to-back road wins.
The Jets capped off their second victory in as many nights with a commanding 6-1 win over the New Jersey Devils on Friday. The victory marks the 12th time the Jets have scored six goals in a game this season.
Alex Iafallo opened the scoring late in the first period, burying a rebound at 18:37 to give the Jets a 1-0 lead.
Remains found in Manitoba landfill confirmed to be Morgan Harris
RCMP say remains found in a Winnipeg-area landfill have been identified as belonging to the victim of a serial killer.
They say the family of Morgan Harris has been notified. Harris was from Long Plain First Nation, west of Winnipeg.
Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew announced last week that possible remains had been found during a search of the landfill.
Juno nominated Blues pioneer Big Dave McLean joins us for Made in Manitoba
We're back for another Made in Manitoba, and this weekend we're celebrating a true Canadian musical icon nominated for his fourth Juno award. Big Dave McLean was born in Saskatchewan and raised in Winnipeg, still calling our provincial capital home.
He's one of the true pioneers of Canadian blues, and is an unbelievably talented guitar player and harmonicist. He's received a Juno nomination for Blues Album of the Year for his latest project "This Old Life", which came out last year.
Jets bring back Brandon Tanev, add Luke Schenn in pair of trade deadline moves ▶️
The Winnipeg Jets have made two key acquisitions ahead of the trade deadline, bringing back fan-favourite forward Brandon Tanev from the Seattle Kraken and adding veteran defenceman Luke Schenn from the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In exchange for Tanev, the Jets send a second-round pick to Seattle according to Elliotte Friedman of Hockey Night in Canada.

Oil Caps Sabel commits to Marion University
Brett Sabel of the Virden Oil Capitals announced he will be continuing his hockey and education at Marion University, NCAA - Division 3 for next season.
"I kind of grew up around Marion University," the 20-year-old Sabel said with a smile. "It's been a dream of mine to play there."
Strike postponed as Manitoba health-care workers vote on tentative agreement
A strike by thousands of health-care workers in Manitoba has been called off after their union says it reached a tentative deal on a new contract.
The Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals says the strike planned for today is postponed until workers can vote on the tentative agreement.
The union says 7,000 of its members, including paramedics, physiotherapists, midwives and social workers have been without a collective agreement since last April.

Federal Court dismisses challenge of Trudeau's move to prorogue Parliament
A federal judge has dismissed a legal challenge of Justin Trudeau's move to prorogue Parliament, concluding the prime minister did not exceed the bounds of his authority.
Two Nova Scotia men had asked the Federal Court to declare the current suspension of Parliament illegal because there must be a "reasonable justification" for hitting the pause button.
David MacKinnon of Amherst, N.S., and Aris Lavranos of Halifax sought an order setting aside Trudeau's January decision to advise Gov. Gen. Mary Simon to exercise her power to prorogue Parliament until March 24.
