Jason was born in Vancouver, B. C. to Sheila and Dick Patton on Dec 5, 1976. He was the light of their lives, and they were so proud to be parents. Jason attended both Charles Dickens elementary School and then Sir Charles Tupper Secondary School in Vancouver. After graduating, he went on to take a machinist course at BCIT. He loved heavy metal rock bands, and he took great pride in his connections to those musical endeavors. He amassed a huge collection of diecast cars and loved showing them to anyone who visited.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Dorothy on Saturday, August 17, 2024, with her children by her side. Mother was born to Harry and Doris Swarbrick on December 23, 1929. Mom grew up in Moose Jaw attending William Grayson and King George schools and Central Collegiate. In 1951, mom married her best friend Harvey Stein, and they raised four children together.

Joan Elizabeth Olmstead

It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Joan Elizabeth Olmstead, age 85 years, on July 15, 2024, at the Dr. F. H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. 

Mom was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. There were many examples in her life where she showed her family they were the most important thing to her. We all consider ourselves very lucky to have known her and appreciate her presence in our lives. 

Audrey Jean Paul

Audrey Jean Paul passed away peacefully at Moose Jaw Special Care Home on July 22, 2024, at the age of 94. She was born near Findlater Saskatchewan on December 25, 1929. In 1964, Audrey moved to Tuxford where she drove a water truck and delivered water to every home and surrounding area until she moved to Moose Jaw in 1973. Audrey worked at Valley view until her retirement on December 4, 1992. During her retirement she enjoyed traveling with her partner Bob Watterson.

Audrey Doreen Down

Audrey Doreen Down passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, July 10, 2024, at the age of 92.  Audrey was born in Moose Jaw, SK and raised on the farm near Parkbeg, SK.

She was predeceased by her parents Jabez and Flora (Dobbin) Down and her brother Donald in 2023. 

Audrey is survived by two brothers, Dennis (Marlene) and Jim (Sandra); nephews Russ (Nadine) their family Aaron and Brett; Ray (Colleen) and their family Niamh and Devin; as well as numerous cousins.

Dezmond Gilliam

It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Dezmond Gilliam on July 9, 2024. Jean Johnston

Jean Johnston of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully at Providence Place on Thursday July 11, 2024, at the age of 92. Jean was born to Gladys and Harry Sargeant on September 29, 1931, in Moose Jaw at Providence Hospital.

Jean was predeceased by her mother, Gladys, father, Harry, brother Ken, son, Eric and special mention to her aunt in Shaunavon, Lou.

Jean is survived by her son, David; two grandchildren Laura and Ryan; four great grandchildren Elin Bryson, Keira and Piper.

Mark Rudeen

With Sadness the family of Mark Rudeen announce his passing early on July 10th at Chateau St. Michaels, where he had resided for the past 13 years.

Mark worked for most of his life with Canadian Pacific Railway as a carman. He enjoyed working on the trains and was a faithful worker.

He was a quiet man but had a wonderful sense of humor and liked to tease the Chateau staff. He was a loving, caring, gentle man, and he was fiercely loyal. Mark will be missed by all who knew him.

Marie Louise Gate

It is with sadness the family of Marie Louise Gate announce her passing on July 9, 2024, at the age 95. She is predeceased by her parents Louis and Marguerite; husband Andre; sisters Francois and Jeanne and brother Henri. She will be sadly missed by her sons James (Sharon) and John (Dorothy); grandchildren Jennifer and Andrew (Lacey); great grandchild Maverick and another great grandson on his way as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Gail Laurrain Hafner

The family of Gail Laurrain Hafner is sad to announce her passing on July 5, 2024, in Regina SK, at the age of 74. Gail was born on September 29,1949 in Regina, SK.

She is predeceased by her son Rodney James Hafner and great grandson Isiah Hafner.
