Weyburn Red Wings

The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings are taking on the Estevan Bruins in their home opener this evening. 

The game begins at 7:00 p.m. at Crescent Point Place. Season tickets can be purchased at the Red Wings office.

Saturday's Red Wings game in Estevan has been postponed until October 2nd. 

The Highway 39 rivalry kicks off for the season on Friday evening, as the Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings have their home opener against the Estevan Bruins. 

The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings were defeated by the Yorkton Terriers 3-1 last night. 

A goal was scored in the first period by Jackson Hassman, with assists made by Kirk Mullen and Mi-Kwan Tallman.

The next game for the Red Wings is tomorrow evening's home opener against Estevan, kicking off this year's Highway 39 rivalry.

The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings defeated the Melville Millionaires 4-2 last night. 

Riley See and Kirk Mullen scored goals in the first period, with assists made by Matthew Reidy, Mathieu Gautier and Jakob Kalin. Ethan Whillans and Kirk Mullen scored in the second, with assists by Jakob Kalin and Simon Pollock.

Matthew Reidy was recently named this year’s Team Captain of the Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings.  

Reidy said it was an honour to get voted in by his coaches and teammates.  

“I think of the captains that I've had before this and it's an honor, I'm excited.” 

Several of Reidy’s old teammates from the Red Wings reached out to him to congratulate him.  

The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings are heading to Melville this evening to take on the Millionaires in their season opener. 

The team announced last night that Matthew Reidy is this year's Team Captain, and Eduard Wruck, Ian Maier, and Mathieu Gautier are Assistant Captains.

The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings have their season opener this Friday in Melville, after a successful preseason. 

Nick Nielsen, Office and Public Relations Manager, is back as the voice of the Wings on Big 106.  

The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings defeated the Niverville Nighthawks of the MJHL 3-2 last night in their first preseason game.  

William Jasmin scored twice, including the game-winner for the Red Wings, with Nicholas Guberman also tallying in the win.

Their next preseason action is on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. when they visit the Estevan Bruins.  

Once again, the Weyburn Red will host the Alumni Golf Tournament. This year, golfers will be ready for a shotgun start at 1:00 PM at the Weyburn Golf Course on September 17th. 

The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings training camp begins this weekend at Crescent Point Place and Nick Nielsen, the voice of the Wings, is excited about what the weekend will showcase.

“I'm looking forward to seeing this team turn a bit of a corner towards some new horizons and better horizons this year," he said.
