In a light-hearted social media post, Statistics Canada revealed some of the spookiest-named locations across the country, including one in Alberta.
It appears that Grave Flats, Alberta, made the list. Still, commentators noted that there are quite a few more creepy-named locations in Alberta, including Dead Man's Flats and Minnewanka Landing, which, when translated from the Nakoda language, means 'the water of spirits.'

The wait is officially over for Halloween, and just one question remains. What will the weather be like today for the trick-or-treaters?
Stephen Berg, a Meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada explained we will see a small temperature drop in Airdrie.
"Looks a slight bit cooler than the average for the time of year. Looks like it'll be into the plus-two range or so for the high and -10 range for the low."

Earlier this month, Trudeau told a public inquiry that he has been given the names of past and present Conservative parliamentarians and candidates who are linked to foreign interference.

Today it was announced that the City of Airdrie were the successful recipient of a $7,500 grant from FortisAlberta to aid in a lighting retrofit project at the Plainsmen Arena, completed this June.
