The ANAN Experience is hosting an outdoor worship experience on August 31 at 5 p.m. on the top floor at The Bay Parkade (295 Memorial Boulevard).

The night will consist of worship, prayer, and the Word, featuring guest speakers and ministers.

There will be a charity drive; donations such as clothing and non-perishable food items can be brought to the event.

The Labour Day long weekend is here and Stardust Drive-in Theatre in Morden has a stacked line-up ready for us to enjoy.

Owner, Marlene Nelson, came by our studio to share details of the regular long weekend double feature tradition.     

Kicking things off on Friday and Saturday evening at dusk which, these days, is around 9 p.m. is 
Fantastic Four: First Steps. 

The double feature happens on Sunday evening starting with a favourite of young movie-goers, Lilo & Stitch.

Dozens of festivals, fairs and fundraisers attended, alongside too many cues to call to count, led to more than 200 Golden Ticket winners joining us Thursday night in hopes of winning a share of thousands of dollars in prizes at the Morden Home Hardware Rockin Summer finale.

The Pat Porter Active Living Centre (PPALC) is hosting their ‘first ever night market’. 

Carla Walker, Program and Volunteer Coordinator at PPALC, says the event is being organized in partnership with Eastman Immigrant Services as a way to kick off the long weekend.
