Lake Lenore Service Club invites everyone to a wedding dance
The organizers with the Lake Lenore Service Club are cooking up a fall dance that’s not your traditional seasonal fare.
The organization of women that serves Lake Lenore charities and community groups are putting together a Mock Wedding Dance for October 26, just in time for Hallowe’en dress up.

Fresh off their championship season, the Moose Jaw Warriors start their 2024-25 campaign Friday night in Brandon, with the Home Opener on Saturday against the Prince Albert Raiders.
And for the first time ever, the Warriors will be raising a WHL championship banner into the rafters at The Hangar.
A pre-game tailgate party is scheduled to start at 3:30 on Saturday featuring live music, food trucks, games, prizes, and one of your final opportunities to take a picture with the Ed Chynoweth Cup.

Registration is now open for one of Cochrane's most exciting and adorable competitions.
Reid Kimmett with Two Pharmacy said the 12th annual Diaper Derby will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29th.
"We have children aged zero up to three race across about a 20 ft mat with their parents coaxing them with tv remotes, phones, siblings, grandmas, or whatever to try to get them across the finish line the fastest."
It takes two people to be involved with each kid, one at the start line and one at the finish line.

Twelfth annual Weyburn Culture Days celebration begins September 20th
Weyburn Culture Days will be kicking off on September 20th as part of the national event celebrating culture and diversity across the country. This is the twelfth time Weyburn has participated, curator for the Weyburn Art Gallery, Regan Lanning says it’s “designed to create opportunities for cultural awareness and cultural sharing within our communities.”
Pedals to the Medal: cyclists raise over $100,000 for mental health
The Eden Foundation’s annual Head for the Hills cycling event took place this past weekend, raising awareness and support for mental health initiatives.
Despite facing some weather challenges, the event proved to be a success, raising approximately $90,000.
