The Moose Jaw Kinette Club is giving you the chance to win big this holiday season!

Santa's Baskets of Booze Raffle is happening just in time for Christmas, with two prizes you can win. The grand prize is a basket full of the "Holiday Essentials" valued at $400, and the runner-up is a "Pickled Ceasar" basket worth $100. Proceeds from the raffle will go towards the Nominate Your Neighbour program.

Envision Counselling and the Estevan Public Library are teaming up to host a Death Café event on November 27 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event will provide a safe and welcoming space for participants to discuss their thoughts, fears, and experiences with death and grief.

Barrel is this week's Spike Grooming Adorable Adoptable from the Moose Jaw Humane Society. He s a 4-5 month old male kitten (born the end of June). How handsome is Barrel? One look and your heart will be his! As handsome as Barrel is, his personality is even better. When we pick him up he immediately starts purring and wraps his paws around our necks. He does seem to be a bit of a ladies man and only does this smooth act for the girls. You can't let the boys know you are soft! 

The Yuletide season is a treasured time of year for cookie lovers everywhere, including the St. Andrew's United Church.

Name That Tune was a great time this morning and JoAnne Spence was our lucky contestant. 

She got the first song correct which was Cotton Eye Joe. She chose to play it safe and walk away with the $25.00 gift card.

Wicked opens this weekend in theatres and fans are so excited to sing along to all their favourite songs from the musical.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but AMC theatres in the United States are not letting fans sing.

They're even running a 30-second warning set to clips from the movie that say, quote, "No talking.  No texting.  No singing.  No wailing.  No flirting.  And absolutely no name-calling.  Enjoy the magic of movies.
