We were then transported to the Caribbean Pavilion at the Centre Culturel Franco-Manitobain, 340 Provencher Boulevard. The Cruiser finished off its night at the Spain Pavilion at the Notre Dame Recreational Centre, 271 Ave. de la Cathedrale.

Dazzling tattoos among many children’s activities at Winkler Harvest Festival

This weekend, Winkler will be buzzing as the annual Harvest Festival takes over the city from August 8th to 10th.

Along with a parade, a midway, live musical entertainment, and an all-star line-up of food trucks, there will also be a variety of programming for children, including a petting zoo, obstacle course, and princess/hero pictures. 

Classic 107 Cruiser experiences vibrant visits to Tamil and Portuguese Pavilions

The Classic 107 Cruiser visited the Tamil Pavilion at the Burton Cummings Community Centre, 960 Arlington Street, on Wednesday evening for the 6:45 p.m. show. 

The show was dynamic and exhilarating, featuring dances rich with history and culture. The cultural display showcased traditional artifacts and explained the history behind each dance.

After the Tamil Pavilion, the Cruiser jetted off to the Pavilion of Portugal at the Portuguese Association of Manitoba, 659 Young Street, for the 8:15 p.m.

Old fashioned fun: Packed lineup of events planned for Heritage Village Days

Weyburn is celebrating local history this weekend at Heritage Village Days, with a lineup of experiences, events, and performances. 

The fun will begin tomorrow at 11 a.m. with the opening ceremonies, followed at 11:30 a.m. with sheep herding by Russell Roome. Eli Barsi will then take the stage from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by De Tricky Feet Dance Studio from 2:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
