Country 93 10th anniversary parking lot party ready to roll
It was September of 2014 when the 93.1 FM signal was rebranded as Country 93, and everything kicked off with a parking lot party featuring Doc Walker on that first day.
To celebrate all those years of excitement, another party lot party presented by Rona, Portage is planned Thursday night, at 6 p.m.
Since the launch, around one million songs have been played and many of those are by some of the talented musicians from right here in the area. Artists who have come a long way since we first said "We love our Country"

Tonight is the night! Get your steps on with some local square dancing.
Square dancing has been a hot spot for Strathmore residents for years.
Over the summer, the event took place at the Pavillion at Kinsmen Park, and Claudia Littlefair, organizer of the program says many new people were able to attend.
"We had probably between 15 to 35 people during the summer came out, so lots of new people were able to try it out."
It's the last time you can get in for free as you will have to make a $35 donation going forward.
