The Canadian Women Entrepreneur in Industry Gala held its awards last week.
The CEO and Founder of CATTLEytics Shari Van de Pol was recognised with the "Total Mom Inc.'s Tech for Good Award" for Advancing the Dairy Industry and the Welfare of its Animals.
According to the company website, the CATTLEytics Dairy Health and Management System is the control centre for a dairy operation.
"From diagnosis to animal health, reproduction performance to vaccination planning, this is seamless, easy to use, and puts you in control of your operation."
The CATTLEytics program focuses on enhancing the agricultural efficiency and sustainability for your dairy operation through the development of hardware, software, and system solutions crafted by our interdisciplinary team of veterinarians, software developers, and hardware engineers.
The CEO of the Canadian Agri-Food Automation and Intelligence Network (CAAIN), Darrell Petras noted that CATTLEytics leads one of six teams awarded funding through CAAIN's 2023 Open Competition.
"Their project, Creation of a Dairy Management, Modelling, and Collaborative Framework System to Facilitate Predictive and Data-Driven Decision-Making in Canada, will receive $800,000 in support from CAAIN."
