Canada's Farm Show is set to welcome over 20 thousand visitors over the next three days.

Kirk Westgard, the vice president of agriculture for REAL District says this is the 45th edition of the show focusing in on the latest in agricultural technology.

"We've got everything for manufacturing, agriculture, technology, and taking care of ourselves. It's all about the sector as a whole. So, we're really trying to encompass everything that happens in the agriculture sector and we know how important it is as the world leader in food production. It's about what we're doing, where we're going, and how we're gonna get there."

The first day of the show is all about "Collaboration"  bringing together farmers, and industry experts to explore cutting-edge technologies, share best practices, and tackle the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the ag sector.

Westgard says the first product launch of the show goes today as Honey Bee Manufacturing introduces their latest innovation.

"It's going to be the first look at Honey Bee's new pieces of equipment coming out. I'm excited to have it there and we roll right into other product launches."

Do More Ag is unveiling their new  "Ag Talk - Peer-to-Peer Support " platform available 24/7 to those 16+ who live, work and play in the Canadian agricultural industry.

The platform provides a safe and anonymous space to connect, share, and receive support from a community of peers who truly understand your unique experiences working and living in the ag sector.

Another key focus today is Fertilizer with a Panel on Fertilizer Reduction Mandates and a presentation from Catherine King the vice president of Fertilizer Canada.

It's also the final pitch for the 24-Hour Start-Up AGTECH Challenge.

"We have six great teams of  young people from across Saskatchewan coming together to solve problems that need attention and are really out there to get things done."

Westgard says Farm Show is a great opportunity to see the latest in farm equipment and technology, network with friends and take in some great informational sessions.

"We couldn't be happier to see all the manufacturers in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba come back to represent themselves and their products at Canada's Farm Show presented by Viterra."

Daily admission to the show is $25 at the gate.
