Elections Saskatchewan now accepting mail-in ballot applications
Elections Saskatchewan is sending out letters letting residents know how to apply for mail-ballots.
The letters were sent out during the Labour Day long weekend to make people aware that a provincial election is coming as well as mail-in ballot information.
Tim Kydd, senior director of outreach and communications for Elections Saskatchewan, said voting by mail was popular during the pandemic.
Southeast Saskatchewan voters speak out in pre-election poll
Over the weekend, we had a poll on Discover Weyburn to find out the thoughts of voters in the southeast ahead of the provincial election, which will likely be called in the coming days. Those who took part in the poll answered which party they were most aligned with, which party they were least likely to vote for, and which leader they trusted the most. The responses below are for the three ridings in the immediate Weyburn area - Weyburn-Bengough, Moosomin-Montmartre, and Estevan-Big Muddy.
