Q: Why are you running for mayor/council?

A: I’m running for City Council because I’m deeply committed to revitalizing Moose Jaw, creating real opportunities for businesses, and addressing pressing social issues like homelessness, addiction, and mental health. I believe that, with focused, actionable plans, we can make Moose Jaw a safer, more prosperous, and welcoming place for everyone.

Meet the candidate: Chris Warren

Q. Why are you running for mayor/council?

A. I am running for City Council because I love Moose Jaw, and my passion is to serve. I believe I was born to serve and possess a strong desire to provide excellent and quality services to citizens. I am seeking another opportunity to do that in my own community to make life better for all of us now, and for future generations.


Q. Do you have experience in public service/community boards/politics?

Q. Why are you running for mayor/council? 

A. I am running for Council to continue to be a voice in the city for the citizens. I have always believed in leading from the front if you want to be a leader.

A. My experience in politics is limited and growing daily, however experience in MJ is extensive.

Q. Why are you running for mayor/council?

A. I’m running to ensure accountability and appropriate stewardship of the revenue entrusted to us by our citizens. My focus is on long-term infrastructure planning and exploring alternative revenue streams instead of raising taxes. Moose Jaw needs a forward-thinking approach that fosters sustainable growth and community-driven solutions. I’m passionate about creating a future where we invest wisely in the city’s needs, while also being transparent and responsive to the citizens we serve.

Q. Why are you running for mayor/council?
 

A.To continue to be involved in making positive change for the City, improve the infrastructure, better communication with residents.

A.Yes

A.I believe it can help in certain situations, especially budgeting and policy review.

Q. Why are you running for mayor/council?

A. Being on council will allow me to be your voice and to take the many concerns fellow citizens have expressed.

A. I have experience in public relations, working on community & rec boards, being on council, and working with a neighbouring RM.

Q. Why are you running for council?

A. Our city is on the cusp of major progress and growth and with my experience on City Council I believe I can be a valuable asset in the important decision making ahead and in building a strong leadership team in Council Chambers and in City Hall.

A. I have served 13 years on Moose Jaw City Council and related boards and committees.
