From Weyburn to the world stage, Brayden King releases debut album

A local singer from Weyburn, Saskatchewan is celebrating his debut album. 

On November 22nd Brayden King released "Stayin' Wild" which he says is comprised of twelve songs that they have been working on over the past three years. 

Reflecting on the album release King said "I didn't think that we would be releasing an album three years in to my career. It just came about really spontaneously, we realized we were sitting on twelve songs and we said this feels like an album. It all fits really well together."

Comedic who done it takes to the stage for the holiday season

Nothing says the holidays like a little murder mystery at least according to Swift Current Little Theatre who will be debuting their fall production of "As Long As We Both Shall Live" by Sean Grennan this weekend.

 

Actor in the production Kutis Bakanec provides details on the show.

"The main plot surrounds a couple about to be married and the mother of the groom disapproves of this union and all sorts of other crazy shenanigans happen. Someone also gets murdered." 

14th Annual Night Jesus Was Born Nativity lights up Hodgeville

The Hodgeville Community Hall will be lit us this weekend during the 14th Annual Night Jesus Was Born Nativity Display. 

Anne Barkman one of the original founders of the display details what guests can expect. 

"It is a collection of about 1100 different nativity scenes. It's a walk through event where people can stand or walk around and experience different interpretations of scenes of the nativity."

Visitors can attend the display this Friday and Saturday from 10 am - 9pm and Sunday from 10 am - 6 pm. 

Ryan McMahon takes to the stage tonight for Stars for Saskatchewan

The Stars For Saskatchewan concert series will be presenting their next performance tonight as Ryan McMahon takes to the stage at the Events Center at the Living Sky Casino. 

McMahon has been creating music for the past 25 years and is sure to put on a fantastic show for everyone. In a press release from the Organization Of Saskatchewan Arts Councils it explains that McMahon "has toured with some of Canada’s greatest rock icons Burton Cummings and Tom Cochrane and received rave reviews from audiences".
