The Krahn Barn in Neubergthal has hosted many concerts and performances over the years and they are ready to go with another toe-tapping, upbeat group this Saturday (Sept 6th), The Stanley County Cut-ups!

Lake Minnewasta is set to shine in early fall as families gather for the second annual Lakeside Fall Festival on Saturday, September 13, from 1:00–6:00 p.m. Organized by the City of Morden, the event aims to pull folks outdoors and back to a place many love as the leaves begin to turn.

Estevan’s Living Skies Woodworking is turning heads, locally and beyond. Owner Steven Raymond recently crafted a custom sign for country star Lainey Wilson, continuing a growing list of high-profile clients that includes Colter Wall, Jelly Roll, and even Hawthorne Bjornsson from Game of Thrones.

The idea behind each piece, Steven explains, is personalization. “We did not want to just put Lainey Wilson on the sign. We scoured her social media for color palettes and symbols she loves. The horseshoe was a huge thing for her. It really reflects her southern roots.”

As summer comes to a close, so does the weekly KPMG Taste of Summer Charity BBQ. 

Each week throughout the season, a different local charity received support from the community event. While lunch was available for just a $2 donation, many gave much more. 

A brand-new season with the Humboldt Broncos is just around the corner. 

The team will begin the regular season Friday, September 19, with the home-opener the following night. 

Festivities get underway earlier, though, on Monday, September 15, when the Broncos will hold their second annual Car Bingo. 

Quinn Wolff from the Liberty area is our September 3rd winner of Farmer Appreciation – Harvest Edition!

Quinn shares:

"We farm about 11000 acres. My dad, cousin and myself along with a few hired men. We grow lentils, durum, and canola."

Grain Rush, driven by Great Plains Ford, is back for another year!  

That’s right, between now and September 12th, we will be delivering some delicious KFC meals to some hard-working farmers.  

Today, we took our meal out to Kyle Hoium and his crew near Midale, thanks to Mectec Transport.  

We’re kicking off another season of Meal in the Field with our very first winners of the year!

This hardworking crew, farming just north of Macklin in the RM of Eye Hill, was nominated by Sean Ellwood.

It was our first delivery of the season and we’re just getting started! Keep an eye out, because the next time we’re on the road, we could be pulling into a field near you with a hot meal in hand.

Moose Jaw's White Heather Pipe Band is looking for new recruits! 

Long-time, veteran bagpiper Michelle Carline started attracting youngsters to the new band a few years ago and her group is growing and having a lot of fun while they continue to improve.
