Estevan’s Living Skies Woodworking is turning heads, locally and beyond. Owner Steven Raymond recently crafted a custom sign for country star Lainey Wilson, continuing a growing list of high-profile clients that includes Colter Wall, Jelly Roll, and even Hawthorne Bjornsson from Game of Thrones.
The idea behind each piece, Steven explains, is personalization. “We did not want to just put Lainey Wilson on the sign. We scoured her social media for color palettes and symbols she loves. The horseshoe was a huge thing for her. It really reflects her southern roots.”
KPMG Taste of Summer BBQ raises over $44,000 for local charities
As summer comes to a close, so does the weekly KPMG Taste of Summer Charity BBQ.
Each week throughout the season, a different local charity received support from the community event. While lunch was available for just a $2 donation, many gave much more.
Kick off the season with the Humboldt Broncos Car Bingo
A brand-new season with the Humboldt Broncos is just around the corner.
The team will begin the regular season Friday, September 19, with the home-opener the following night.
Festivities get underway earlier, though, on Monday, September 15, when the Broncos will hold their second annual Car Bingo.

This hardworking crew, farming just north of Macklin in the RM of Eye Hill, was nominated by Sean Ellwood.
It was our first delivery of the season and we’re just getting started! Keep an eye out, because the next time we’re on the road, we could be pulling into a field near you with a hot meal in hand.
