It is with deep sorrow that the family of Dwayne Wolframe announces his sudden passing due to complications from unexpected surgery on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the age of 67.

August 13, 1991 - November 26, 2022
 
It is with the heaviest of hearts we share that Mikael passed away on November 26th after a long, hard-fought battle with addiction.

October 14, 1977 – November 21, 2022

Joanne, a resident of Grassy Narrows First Narrows passed away suddenly on Monday, November 21, 2022

She is survived by her husband Dallas Swain, children Denzil, Julieann, Anton and Americo, her step-children, Sabrina and Devin, her grandchildren Gaagii, Diondre, Mikylo and Lanaya whom she cherished and loved with all her heart.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kelly on November 23, 2022 at the age of 42. Beloved husband of Krista (nee Smith) for 15 years. Cherished father of Reese and Rylee. Loving son of Roy and Sandy Burchall. Dear brother of Traci VanderByl (Skip). Treasured son-in-law of James and Judith Smith. Brother-in-law of Brandon Smith (Elise). Uncle of Mya and Cooper. Will be sadly missed by family and friends. Kelly was born in Kenora and grew up at Longbow Lake.

Laney 'Lynx' Smith
June 29, 1993 - October 14, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our nephew, dad, and brother Laney Smith, a member of Whitedog First Nation, Ontario passed away at Montfort Hospital in the ICU unit in Ottawa, Ontario on Friday, October 14, 2022.

He was predeceased by his parents Darnell Land and Loretta Smith.  Grandparents Nazareth Sr., Agnes Land and Robert Boyd Sr., uncles Bradley, Bryden, Barret, Lawrence, Twin Boy Land, Gregory Boyd, Robert and Robert Jr. Smith (Robish), his aunties Arlene Land and Jane Smith.

Robert Gregory Wade Kelly, Ogemaabines was born October 19, 1977 at Lavendrye General Hospital to Kathy Kishiqueb and Robert Smith. Greg was a proud band member of Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation, Ontario and passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Stanley Bird, age 81 of Whitefish Bay.  Stanley passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 with his family by his side.

He was predeceased by his parents, Florence and Stephen Bird, his brother Arthur, sister Lillian (Wawa), his grandparents Antoinette and Louise, Maggie and Joe.

Early on the morning of Nov. 23, our Mom, Grandmother, Gramma Z, Auntie, Sister-in-law and Friend, Doreen, with her eye on the stars, left to be with our Dad, John.

Doreen was born July 20, 1927 to Oscar and Rose Favreau. She was the little sister to Ray. She belonged to Notre Dame Catholic Church and attended Mount Carmel and Kenora District High School.

January 30th, 1944 - November 18th, 2022

Norman Gordon Johnson, aged 69 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Sunday, November 20th, 2022. Norman will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Deborah; daughter, Joleen (Bruno); son Tad; daughter, Shannon; and daughter, Dawn.
