With sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Helen Bernice Barry announces her peaceful passing on Thursday, July 31st, 2025, at the age of 93 years.  She left this world gently, surrounded by the love and presence of her family. 

The memorial service for Mrs. Katherine Hystad will be taking place at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at Warren’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Patti Sherk officiating.

Roger Louis Arendt

October 10, 1949 – July 26, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and dear friend, Roger Louis Arendt, after a lengthy illness. Roger passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was predeceased by his parents, Mildred Beatrice Wiley and Francis Roy Arendt, and his brothers, Gerry Arendt and Bud Arendt.

The Funeral Service for Mr. Lyle Downey of Swift Current will take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Trailview Alliance Church in Swift Current with Pastor Rob Cochrane officiating.

The Interment Service will take place at the Wymark EMC Cemetery on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

Those wishing to pay their respects, may do so Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. at the Swift Current Funeral Home

John “Johnny” Moryski peacefully went to sleep on July 29, 2025, at the age of 82 years.

He lived and farmed his entire life at Tyvan, SK. John’s family remembers his deep dedication to farming and his care for the land he called his home.

John carried with him a quiet hope for a better world and the comfort of being reunited with loved ones. That hope remained with him until his final breath.

Terrance Alfred Kvamme
August 15, 1959 – July 28, 2025

It is with broken hearts that our family announces the sudden passing of Terrance ”Terry” Kvamme on Monday, July 28, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Estevan, SK at the age of 65 years. He was a wonderful husband and a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, and will forever be loved and remembered by everyone who knew him.

We the family of Irene Guest, are saddened to announce her passing on July 29, 2025 in Weyburn, SK at the age of 92 years old. Her life was centered around her family, and she poured her heart into every moment spent caring for and supporting those she loved. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Irene was predeceased by her husband, Earl Guest; her parents, Matilda Gertrude Slater and Joseph Alec Slater; brothers and sister: Melvin, Leonard, Albert, Dorothy, Norman; son, Dean Guest; grandchildren, Janis Guest and Michael Guest.

Otto Braun, 92, of Altona passed away Saturday, July 26th at Altona Memorial Health Centre. He is survived by 2 daughters, 1 son and their families. He was predeceased by his wife Esther.

ANDREYCHUK

Dona Mae Andreychuk, aged 82 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, was born July 10th, 1943, and passed away suddenly on Monday, July 28th, 2025.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother of 5, and sister.  Dona is survived by her three children: Richard Andreychuk (grandchildren: Chelcie, Colby, Amanda, and Whitney), Cheryl Andreychuk (grandchildren: Owen, Madison, and Conrad), and Sandra Bastian (grandchildren: Dylan, Dawson, Dalton); and sisters: Beryl Robinson, Sharon Heathcoat, and Brenda Hillmer.
