People are already taking action to ensure the hospital grounds are as festive as ever, this December.

Linda Peters is Executive Director with the Bethesda Foundation. She says that generous community members are already calling in to sponsor trees for this year’s Gifts of Light fundraising campaign.

“It warms my heart to know people are thinking about the Bethesda Foundation, thinking about supporting health care in our community, and are thinking about honouring loved ones by sponsoring a tree.”

“We’re very, very excited to see how we can keep growing and keep serving Steinbach!” 

Oliver Kopp, Owner of The Rental House in Steinbach, has lots to say about their current rebranding and merging with Let’s Celebrate Rentals.  

“We’re kind of entering a new era in this The Rental House – Let’s Celebrate conglomerate if you want to call it that”, Kopp shares. “And we figured it was time for a new look.”

RCMP in Alberta are grateful for a tip from the public that resulted in getting a dangerous driver from Steinbach off the road.

Strathmore RCMP received a report of a possible impaired driver on Highway 1 on October 1 at about 2 PM. 

A white utility van was reportedly swerving on the road, causing it to sometimes drift onto the shoulder. Strathmore RCMP responded to find the vehicle parked on the side of the Trans-Canada Highway, where the male driver had exited the van in a confused state.

BSI Insurance is hosting a Grand Re-opening today, October 4th, from noon until 2:00 PM, at their location in Steinbach’s Clearspring Centre.
