With Saskatchewan Day fast approaching, some people will be taking the time to go camping, with Moose Mountain often a destination for those in the southeast.
Camp Manager Kim Brown talks about some of the events they have planned for the weekend.

Bourgault Industries subsidiary fined $65,000 for worrkplace related accident
An agricultural manufacturing firm in Saskatchewan has been ordered to pay $65, 000 relating to a workplace accident two years ago.
Highline Manufacturing Limited, a subsidiary of Bourgault Industries entered a guilty plea July 22nd in Saskatoon Provincial Court to one violation of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred on June 22, 2022, in Vonda, when a worker was seriously injured while flushing highly flammable solvent through an electrostatic paint gun.
Two other charges were withdrawn.

Estevan teen faces charges in stolen vehicle incident
The Estevan Police Service had a busy day on July 30, dealing with multiple incidents, including a vehicle theft and a traffic enforcement initiative.
Police received information regarding a stolen vehicle reportedly seen at Boundary Dam campground. The RCMP assisted EPS in locating and arresting the driver, a 16-year-old female from Estevan. The vehicle was returned to its registered owners.

Taste of Summer Charity BBQ raises $1,067 for Camp Easter Seal
The Golden West Taste of Summer Charity BBQ has brought in a new record amount this year as money was raised for SaskAbilities' Camp Easter Seal.
The BBQ sold hotdogs, water, and cookies to people in front of Sholter Horsman, raising $1,067 for the camp.

Midale library's new venue boosts community engagement
The Midale Library has had a busy few months since moving to its new location. The larger venue has allowed the library to expand its programming and offer a wider range of programs to patrons.
Jeri-Lee Jones, head librarian at the Midale Library, said the summer has been a lot of fun so far.
“This summer we’ve had some really awesome events. We’ve had Mr. Eric come and perform at our library, and we also had the Saskatchewan Science Centre outreach program with our children here in town.”
