Dawgs winning streak now at 9 games
The Okotoks Dawgs of the WCBL picked up another win on Thursday night, this time it was on the road in Swift Current.
They dropped the 57s 5-2 to record their ninth win in a row.
The Dawgs are now sitting in first place in the West Division with a two-and-a-half game lead on the Lethbridge Bulls.
Both teams hit the ball diamond again tonight in Swift Current before the team hops back on the bus to Okotoks.
It was nothin' but a good time for Stamps fans at the Stampede Bowl

The Stamps were firing on all cylinders as they demolished the 3-and-0 Winnipeg Blue Bombers 37-16.
Not only did Stamps fans have a lot to cheer about, but they also rocked out when former Poison lead singer, Bret Michaels, hit the stage for the halftime show.

Bombers bucked in Calgary in inaugural Stampede Bowl
The Winnipeg Blue Bombers came into the inaugural Stampede Bowl unbeaten and riding high in the saddle after being pegged — once again — as Canadian Football League contenders.
They are now exiting Cowtown after being thrown from their steed and then lassoed, hogtied and branded by the Calgary Stampeders in sloppy, mistake-filled 37-16 loss in front of 22,485 at McMahon Stadium, a result which drops them to 3-1 — ditto for the Stamps — and takes a whole pile of shine off what had been an impressive unbeaten start to the season.
